Privacy Statement

United Solar Ovonic, Inc. is committed to respecting the privacy rights of all visitors to our website, www.uni-solar.com, and any other site provided by United Solar Ovonic (the “Sites”).

This privacy policy (the “Policy”) describes the types of personal information United Solar Ovonic collects on the Sites, how we may use that information and when we may disclose it, your choices about the use and disclosure of your information, and how we protect that information.

Information We Collect About You

United Solar Ovonic collects personal information about you when you provide it to us voluntarily; for example, when you contact us with questions or sign up to listen to our web casts or to receive communications from us. We also collect the following types of information from you automatically: IP address, information about your web browser software and version, and, if you arrived at the Sites via a link from a third-party website, the URL of the linking page; and your activity on the websites, such as which pages you choose to view, queries you make using our “search”  function, and other information about your account usage.

When you visit our Sites, we may store some information on your computer in  the form of a “cookie” and similar technologies that allow us to remember you when you return to the Sites or that stores information that we can retrieve each time you access the Sites.   • We also may share personal information with any other companies under common control, such as subsidiaries or joint ventures, in which case we will require such companies to honour this Policy.

Access to Your Information
You may obtain a copy of personal information that you provide through the Sites and which is retained by us, or request that we update or make changes to such information, by sending an email to: webmaster@uni-solar.com.

Your Choices
As noted above, you can choose not to provide United Solar Ovonic with personal information. You also may stop delivery of commercial email communications by following the instructions to unsubscribe to such communications that accompany each communication that you receive from us. Please note that we may send you other email communications, such as service announcements, transactional messages, and administrative notices, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

Security
No website can guarantee security and, therefore, United Solar Ovonic cannot guarantee that no unauthorized individual will obtain access to information about you that we collect. However, United Solar Ovonic has implemented commercially reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical security procedures to help protect the personal information that we store.

Third-Party Websites
Websites to which the Sites link do not operate under this Privacy Policy. We recommend that you examine the privacy statements posted on those other websites to understand their procedures for collecting, using, and disclosing your information.

Children’s Privacy
The Sites are general audience websites and are not designed for children under 13 years old. Accordingly, United Solar Ovonic will not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information from our databases.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy in the future including to reflect changes in our privacy practices or our Sites functionality, and our collection of personal information in the future will be governed by the version of this Policy that is in effect at the time. To assist you in determining whether the Policy has been changed, we will list the effective date of the policy at the top of the document. We will notify you about material changes to this Privacy Policy by sending a notice to the email address you provided to us or by placing a prominent notice on the Sites.
